Delete your Tiko Bot account and data
A grown-up can delete the Tiko Bot account and the data stored with it, in the game, or ask us to do it by email. This applies whether the game uses an anonymous account or a Google or Apple sign-in a grown-up linked.
Delete the account in the game
Deletion happens straight away and cannot be undone. The game account, cloud save and leaderboard entries are all removed.
- Open Tiko Bot and tap Settings. It asks a grown-up question first.
- Tap Account, then tap Delete account.
- Read the warning and confirm.
If it asks to sign in again, sign out, sign back in and repeat the steps.
Ask us by email
If you cannot open the app or sign in, or would rather we did it for you, email us. Send it from the email address you use with the app if you can; if not, we may ask you to confirm the request from that address before we delete anything.

- You can write from any email address; you do not need to have signed in with it.
What is deleted
- The Tiko Bot account: the anonymous account ID, and the email address a grown-up linked through Google or Apple sign-in, if any.
- The cloud progress: levels reached, stars, coins, looks and settings.
- The leaderboard entries: generated nickname, country and scores. The child disappears from every board.
- This phone’s notification token, if notifications were turned on.
What is not deleted, and for how long
- The copy of the progress on the phone stays there until the game is uninstalled or its data is cleared.
- Usage statistics are not linked to the account. Their detailed records are deleted automatically, as our privacy policy explains.
- Ad data held by Google AdMob on Android is kept by Google under Google’s own policies; we cannot delete it.
- Google, which runs the cloud service (Firebase) for us, may keep deleted data in its own backup systems for a limited time before it is overwritten, under Google’s own policy.
How long it takes
- In the game: at once.
- By email: we reply within one business day and complete the deletion within 30 days, then tell you it is done.
