Account and data deletion

Delete your Crystal Crush account and data

You can delete your Crystal Crush account and the data stored with it in the game, or ask us to do it by email. This applies whether the game uses an anonymous account or a Sign in with Apple or Google account you linked.

Delete the account in the game

Deletion happens straight away and cannot be undone. The game account, cloud save and leaderboard entries are all removed.

  1. Open Crystal Crush and tap Settings.
  2. Tap Account, then tap Delete account.
  3. Read the warning and confirm.

If it asks to sign in again, sign out, sign back in and repeat the steps.

Ask us by email

If you cannot open the app or sign in, or would rather we did it for you, email us. Send it from the email address you use with the app if you can; if not, we may ask you to confirm the request from that address before we delete anything.

Write the email

What is deleted

  • The Crystal Crush account: the anonymous account ID, and the email address from Sign in with Apple or Google, if you linked one.
  • The cloud save: your game progress.
  • The leaderboard entries: display name, country, level scores and the move log used to verify scores.
  • This phone’s notification token, if notifications were turned on.

What is not deleted, and for how long

  • The copy of the progress on the phone stays there until the game is uninstalled or its data is cleared.
  • Anonymous app telemetry is not linked to the account.
  • Ad data held by Google AdMob is kept by Google under Google’s own policies; we cannot delete it. Google, which runs the cloud service (Firebase) for us, may also keep deleted data in its own backup systems for a limited time before it is overwritten, under Google’s own policy.

How long it takes

  • In the game: at once.
  • By email: we reply within one business day and complete the deletion within 30 days, then tell you it is done.
