Account and data deletion

Delete your Torqle account and data

You can delete your Torqle account and the data stored with it yourself, in the game, or ask us to do it by email. This applies whether you play with an anonymous account or signed in with Google or Apple.

Delete your account in the game

Deletion happens straight away and cannot be undone. Your game account, cloud save and leaderboard entries are all removed.

  1. Open Torqle and tap Settings.
  2. Tap Account, then tap Delete account.
  3. Read the warning and confirm.

If it asks you to sign in again, sign out, sign back in and repeat the steps.

Ask us by email

If you cannot open the app or sign in, or would rather we did it for you, email us. Send it from the email address you use with the app if you can; if not, we may ask you to confirm the request from that address before we delete anything.

Write the email

What is deleted

  • Your Torqle account: the account ID, and the name and email address your sign-in provider shared with us if you signed in.
  • Your cloud progress: levels reached, boosters and settings.
  • Your leaderboard entries: display name, country, scores and level results. You disappear from every board.
  • This phone’s notification token.

What is not deleted, and for how long

  • The copy of your progress on your phone stays there until you uninstall the game or clear its data.
  • Usage statistics are not linked to your account or name. Their detailed records are deleted automatically, as our privacy policy explains.
  • Ad data held by Google AdMob is kept by Google under Google’s own policies; we cannot delete it.
  • Google, which runs the cloud service (Firebase) for us, may keep deleted data in its own backup systems for a limited time before it is overwritten, under Google’s own policy.

How long it takes

  • In the game: at once.
  • By email: we reply within one business day and complete the deletion within 30 days, then tell you it is done.
