Tiko Bot

Tiko Bot is a programming game for children, built around a small robot who follows commands exactly. Children put picture blocks in order, press Run, and watch Tiko carry out the program one step at a time, with the running block lit up. When something goes wrong, Tiko stops and says why: a wall in the way, a lamp that is not there, or a route that ends too early. Children then find the mistake and fix it.

The journey crosses eight lands, and each one introduces one idea. The Workshop teaches order and turning. The Garden adds route planning with gems off the main path. Lamp Street adds an action that only works in the right place. The Fix-it Yard hands over programs with mistakes to repair. River Loops and the Crystal Caves teach repeat blocks and loops inside loops. Signal Town adds question blocks that check first and then choose, with one program that must work on several maps. The Sky Factory adds helpers: a group of blocks built once and used many times.

There are 240 levels, 30 in each land. The first levels of every land are designed by hand; the rest are practice levels made by a level generator. A solver checks every level: that it can be solved, and that it really needs the idea it teaches. Hints come in three steps: a glowing path, the next block to try, and a worked answer.

The game is Arabic and English, with right-to-left and left-to-right layouts, picture blocks and a voice guide for early readers. It works offline. There are no accounts, and progress stays on the device. Settings and every link out of the game sit behind a grown-up check.

All artwork, sounds and levels were made for Tiko Bot. The voice guide was generated with openly licensed speech models.
